After many months of careful planning, restoration and quiet work behind the scenes, applications for membership at The Mulberry Club are now open.

 

Before the Club officially opens its doors, we're inviting prospective members to apply. If you have already submitted your application, thank you. We have received it and it is being carefully reviewed. There is no need to apply again. If you are yet to apply, we would love to hear from you. Below you will find everything you need to know about the House, and a link to begin your application.

 

Located within a restored Grade II listed building on George Street in Sheffield's Arts Quarter, The Mulberry Club has been created as a private members' house centred around thoughtful hospitality, conversation, dining and social life. The House will be open seven days a week, morning through to evening, for members to use as their own.

 

Across four floors, members will have access to spaces designed for different occasions.

 

The Gallery and The Snug form the heart of our dining experience, where we're proud to be working alongside Carrs of Sheffield as our Founding Tableware Partner. The kitchen will be open from breakfast through to dinner, seven days a week, giving members a dining experience that moves with the day. Whether that's a considered breakfast to start the morning, a long and unhurried lunch, or an evening meal worth dressing for, the standard remains the same throughout.

 

Our menu draws on French and British foundations, woven through with Asian and Turkish influences that give the offering something genuinely its own. The full menu will be announced very soon.

 

At the helm of our wine list is our in-house sommelier, whose expertise will ensure that every bottle recommended in the House has been chosen with the same care and intention as everything else here.

 

Peacock's Bar is the soul and dedicated cocktail bar of the House by day, a place to arrive without a plan and stay for the conversation, whether that's a quiet morning coffee or the first drink of the evening. The Louis Roederer Champagne Lounge is a partnership built on shared standards, Louis Roederer is among the most respected names in champagne, and this is the first space of its kind in Sheffield dedicated entirely to it. A partnership we're extremely proud to announce.

 

Alongside these are private dining/hosting rooms, a traditional snooker hall with full size table and beautifully appointed bedrooms, allowing members and their guests to extend their stay whenever they choose.

 

Beyond the House itself, members can expect a packed social calendar, with live music running through the day and into the evening in different formats throughout the week.

 

Membership also extends beyond George Street. We've established reciprocal arrangements with a number of the finest private members clubs across the country, each sharing a similar ethos and standard to our own. In practice, this means Mulberry Club members will enjoy access to exceptional houses well beyond Sheffield, wherever life or work might take them. Many more details are still to be announced.

 

The Club has been designed for those who value good hospitality, meaningful conversation and an environment where quality is found in the details rather than the noise.

 

Membership is intentionally limited. Every application is personally reviewed against our membership criteria, ensuring we build a community that reflects the values of the House from the very beginning.

 

We're also preparing our Founding Members' Open House Weekend, where applicants will be invited to experience the Club before we officially open. Further details will be shared in the coming days.
